1. Operator and agreement
VerbaCue is operated by ANGELTECH, trading as GRAINES DE CODE, SAS with share capital of €1,000; SIREN 878 731 157; SIRET 878 731 157 00011; RCS Brive; VAT FR39878731157; registered office 9 Route de la Conche, 19320 Saint-Martin-la-Méanne, France. Publication director: Antoine Berton. By downloading, purchasing, or using VerbaCue, you agree to these terms and the Acceptable Use Policy.
2. The service
VerbaCue is native macOS software offering a local teleprompter and, on eligible plans, bounded-context AI cue generation. Features may evolve, and AI output may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. VerbaCue does not provide legal, medical, financial, employment, or other professional advice.
3. License and devices
Subject to these terms, VerbaCue grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license for personal or internal business use. Pro may be activated on up to 3 Macs associated with the licensed customer. You may not resell, sublicense, bypass license or quota controls, or reverse engineer except where applicable law expressly permits it.
4. Free plan and trial
The Free plan includes the local teleprompter. The no-card Pro trial starts when you begin your first Assist session, lasts 7 days, and includes 30 AI suggestions, capped at 10 per day and 3 per minute. It does not automatically become a paid subscription. Eligibility may be limited to one genuine trial per person, household, organization, or device set where necessary to prevent abuse.
5. Paid plans
Pro is offered at €9/month or €72/year, tax included where applicable, with 300 suggestions in each UTC calendar month across up to 3 Macs, capped at 60 per day and 10 per minute. Accepted AI inference attempts count toward the allowance even if you close the stream or lose connectivity; a request rejected before inference starts does not. Checkout is the source of truth for the billing period, final total, currency, tax, and renewal date.
6. Limited offers
An allocation of up to 25 genuine, continuously active Founding subscriptions is available at €49/year. An ended, expired, or fully refunded subscription releases its place, which may then be offered again. The price remains locked only while the same subscription remains continuously active; an ended subscription does not preserve that price for a later purchase.
7. Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds
Purchases are sold through Link, LLC, formerly Lemon Squeezy LLC, as merchant of record. Subscriptions renew for the selected monthly or annual period until cancelled. You can stop future renewals at any time through the customer portal; cancellation normally leaves Pro active until the paid period ends. ANGELTECH additionally offers a full refund of the first VerbaCue subscription payment when requested within 30 calendar days; a refunded purchase loses its Pro entitlement. The voluntary promise and these terms do not limit any mandatory withdrawal, cancellation, conformity, refund, or other consumer right. Read the procedure and model form in Refunds & Withdrawal. 8. Responsible use
You are responsible for ensuring that your use is lawful and permitted by the people, organization, platform, interviewer, employer, or institution involved. Do not use VerbaCue to cheat, impersonate, defraud, secretly record, violate confidentiality, or misrepresent work or qualifications. See the Acceptable Use Policy.
9. Your content
You retain rights in content you provide. You authorize the limited processing needed to operate the requested feature. You represent that you have the rights and lawful basis needed to process any content or personal data you submit.
10. Availability, updates, and limits
We may maintain, update, suspend, or retire features for security, legal, quality, or operational reasons. Rate and usage limits protect the service and are not a promise of continuous availability. We will avoid materially reducing a paid service without reasonable notice where practicable and legally required.
11. Intellectual property
VerbaCue software, branding, site content, and service design are owned by or licensed to the operator. These terms grant use rights, not ownership. Feedback may be used without obligation provided it does not disclose your confidential information.
12. Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by law, VerbaCue is provided without a guarantee that AI output will be accurate or suitable for a particular decision. You remain responsible for what you say and do. Liability exclusions and caps do not apply where prohibited, including for fraud, willful misconduct, personal injury, or mandatory consumer protections.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Free plan at any time and cancel a paid renewal through the permanently linked customer portal. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, abuse, security risk, fraud, or legal necessity, with notice where appropriate.
14. Governing law and contact
